Kaberi Gayen is a Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism in the University of Dhaka. She studied in the University of Dhaka and Edinburgh Napier University, UK. Her research interests include communication, gender and media studies. Dr. Gayen has published in the areas of social network, social capital, media and cultural analysis. She has published two books: Modelling Influences of Communications and Muktizuddher Cholochchitre Narinirman; her new book Applying Social Network Analysis in Research is due in 2017.
